Playing big pocket pairs on the flop

Only aces, kings and queens are big pairs in no-limit hold'em. If you have raised before the flop with a big pair, and no overcard comes on the flop, it is correct to make a bet. But keep in mind that all you have is an overpair to the board. If somebody comes back over the top of you, are you going to call or fold?
